Tempo Cafe

The Tempo Café is part of the Tempo supermarket chain. Located behind the supermarket in Karaoglanoglu this modern, new building is light and airy and has a large decked garden area with comfortable chairs and plenty of shade at the back which is ideal for summer dining or relaxing with a drink from the outside bar.

The restaurant is open from 10.00am serving breakfasts and a selection of English newspapers are available to read so you can catch up on the news while you wait for your meal to be prepared.

The menu is comprehensive and features pictures of the food served, which is quite common for café type restaurants in North Cyprus. The main courses range from chicken kiev to steak, all meals come served with rice, salad and chips making for a filling and excellent value meal. Snack type meals like omelets and freshly made sandwiches are also a good choice if you feel like a light bite.

The waiters provide quick and efficient service but sometimes are over familiar and hang around too much while you are trying to enjoy your meal which can be off putting to some people.
